With everything for my etsy shop in a status of pending and perpetual rain coming down, I thought why not blog a little? Here is a peak into my walk in closet. When I first moved into our home this closet was not full. Funny how space dictates what you own. My clothes quickly exanded to fill it all. Here I am with no more room for hats, skirts, dresses, sweaters. Just a touch more room for some blouses. I walk in some days feel I have nothing to wear. Other days I walk in feeling so blessed to have collected this all. It’s taken a long time, me at the ripe age of 30 now.
I painted the closet myself with door locked, little son asleep in bed feet away at night. The color is Martha Stewarts Ballerina pink.
Here is some of my 1920’s cloche hat collection. (one ins’t vintage, can you guess which?)
Here you see one of my favorite hats purchased from Adeline’s Attic Etsy shop. Jill is definitely a lady to look up to. Her shop is beautiful filled with lots of choice 1920’s and 1930’s pieces as well as later. (ok this hat is actually in my bedroom displayed, not closet)
I found this light globe in France and used a new Rejuvenation fixture for the hardware.
I try to keep all my best 1920’s vintage dresses on padded hangers to help them keep their life longer. As you can see, I’ve have no more room to add to my collection, a big problem in my eyes! Heheh!
Here is a few of my Chie Mihara collection. I have a whole other shoe rack filled.
